After de ‘Kookshop’ closed some time ago, there wasn’t really a good culinary shop left in the city center. Of course, there is Corona , located in the parish of Sint-Gillis, as a certainty for decades. But next to that, you had to search a while if you wanted to buy a decent pot or pan….
This changes, as of today you can find Cook & Serve in the Geldmuntstreet (one of the main shopping streets). The building used to be a tearoom and has been completely gebuild into a attractive, spacious shop. Two partners came up with the idea to open a culinary shop in the center of Bruges, what a great idea 🙂
The interior is airy and very spacious. From aperitif to dessert, you will find a broad assortiment of pots, pans, kitchen equipment, presentation plates and bowls, … . In the back of the shop, there is also an outdoor-garden corner, with flowerpots, garden lights and ideas what to do with plants.
This is a shop where you can walk around and find something to use in your kitchen, or an ideal gift to take to a dinner invitation. There is also a range of cook books, knifes, glasses, creusets, tea, … .
Cook & Serve is a great shop in the city center. Bruges really missed a shop like this. Also nice to keep in mind as christmas is almost there and you can buy great gifts here.
